The Magical Roof

Sri Raghavendra Teertharu with his entourage continued their long journey from one destination to the other, spreading the Madhwa Siddhantha. Their travel was filled with curious events and miracles. Once, on a sunny day, the group was travelling to Pandrapur by walk. There was a pregnant woman in the group and suddenly, she developed labor pains and fell on the ground. The whole entourage including Rayaru stopped and attended to her immediately. It was also a scorching hot day and there were no trees or shade close by. Rayaru immediately throws a saffron robe up into the sky to form a shade and a roof for the whole group. The robe was seen to be still in the air with no support whatsoever, providing cool feeling            and calmness to the pregnant woman. Also, it is said Rayaru created a water spring with his Dhanda and quenched the thirst of all. He distributed some dry fruits to all. A few of them stayed back with the pregnant woman. Rayaru and a few proceeded forward and the others followed him after the delivery of the baby. The saffron robe vanished as they left the place.

The type of miracles witnessed with Rayaru have no bounds and his actions always have been filled with compassion.
