Sri Vijaya Dasa is one of the highly revered Hari Dasa the world has ever seen. An Aparoksha Gnani, he played an active role in propagating the Dvaitha philosophy.

He considered Sri Guru Raghavendra as his Antharanga Guru, often visited Mantralaya and had the honor of seeing Rayaru and other Gods, live in the Brindavana. He was privileged to converse live with Rayaru. He reveals having seen live Lord Rama, Lord Narashima, Lord Krishna and Lord Veda Vyasa on East South West and North respectively. Also, he says, he saw Sri Madhvacharya and the Yethi Shreshtas in the Sacred Brindavana. Interestingly he shares having seen the Supreme Lakshmi Narayana in the form of a Chakra.

Vijaya Dasa made a clear forecast that the name and fame of Sri Raghavendra Teertharu in the Brindavana at Mantralaya will spread far and wide year after year. He was a junior contemporary of Sri Vadhindra Teertharu and it is said he had witnessed the rendering of Guru Guna Sthavana by the then Pontiff Sri Vadhindra Teertharu.

He played his role in giving life to Srinivasacharya, later known as Sri Jagannatha Dasa.
