This is a song written by Sri Raghavendra Teertharu in praise of Lord Krishna at Udupi. It is opined that Rayaru used the Ankita nama of Venugopala in this song. This work is said to have been done when Rayaru camped in Udupi for ten Years. This composition belong to Bhairavi ragam and Janyam Ragam in Carnatic music.

The expression of the song goes like this-

Today, show me your lotus feet oh Govinda 

The Beautiful face, child of Nanda Gopala joy full in Gokula, Spouse of Lakshmi.

I suffered from bondages of life 

Now I am fixed in this world not aware the path ahead

Oh! Father of Lord  Brahma protect me Oh Krishna

Treat me as your son pardoning my mistakes.

Covered by fear and ignorance I failed to offer true devotion to you

 charioteer I failed to watch you through my inner vision

Failed to praise your glories now I realise and pray to you

I Have been a Burden to the Earth, I have done mistakes by not being righteous, I was with the bad company Oh! Krishna I surrender to you, save me show me the right path. 

Some do not accept this as Rayarus work as the contents of the song does not match with the real events witnessed in the life journey of Rayaru. However it can be considered a modest expression filled with Humility addressing the Supreme.
