Madhava Rao Reborn

During early 1950s, Anwari Madhava Rao, an MP of Loksabha flew to New York on an official trip. He was with his team discussing and suddenly developed a severe chest pain, highly unbearable, and fell unconscious. He was rushed to the nearest hospital for critical care. On inspection, the doctors declared that there was no hope of his survival regardless of the best treatment.

Hence, he was moved to mortuary and kept amidst other bodies. It was mid-night, he gained consciousness and looked around only to see strangely, dead bodies around. He could not get up. He was a staunch devotee of Sri Raghavendra Teertharu. Finding himself in mysterious surroundings, he started chanting ‘Om Sri Raghavendraya Namaha’. A thought was growing in his mind if at all I should die in this distant country who can prevent it? Within second he hears footsteps, he glanced around but could not see anyone. He shut his eyes observed very keenly but could hear somebody walking on wooden sandals. he looked up again and witnessed without knowing if he was in dream or reality and knew it was Rayaru walking towards him. He tried to get up uttering Guru Raja but could not.

Rayaru moved his hand on his body thrice and vanished blessing him that he will be cured of his illness. The following day, the doctors were astounded to see him, as he briefed the phenomenon that left them gaping. Sri Raghavendra Teertharu brings the almost dead back to life. A marvelous deed, indeed.
