During the nineties Sri Ananda, a bank officer was very impulsive and made a quick trip to Mantralaya expecting to reach the destination by noon, have the Darshan of the Brindavan, consume the Prasadam and return the same day. However, he was delayed and could reach the temple at 2:30pm and by then the temple was closed and the Prasadam too was unavailable. Very much disappointed, he walked to the banks of Tungabhadra sat on a rock and started brooding over the opportunity lost in having Darshan and missing the Prasadam. He thought as to why this happened to him? His inner self questioned Rayaru whether he really deserves to be there for prayers, also he was very hungry and questioned himself -am I worthy enough for the Prasadam? A few seconds later, an old man dressed in white with a silver plate in his hand covered with another silver plate came offering to him. He said this is the Prasadam of Rayaru, and asked him to consume it. The hungry Sri Ananda received it, paying full respects and the old man told him to return the silver plates after consumption to Sanctum Sanatorium. The old man went away and Sri Ananda consumed deriving full satisfaction but was not conscious as to what was happening. Later, he realized that he had actually received food in an expensive silverware and was handed over by an old man to him, though being a stranger. He immediately washed the plates and rushed to the Sanctum Sanatorium, narrated the incident to the priests and handed over the silver ware. The priests confirmed the silver ware was used for the Hastodaka to the lord and they were surprised to know that Rayaru arranged for the Prasadam and brought him to the Sanctum Sanatorium for the Darshan of the Brindavan.

Sri Ananda was overwhelmed as he experienced more than he expected. Rayaru feeding him on a silver plate was his greatest blessing.
