Flowing Rivers are always liked by the saints as they see a larger life force in it. There is always a memorable divine story attached to every river which the saints are cognizant of. Once Sri Raghavendra Teertharu visited Alur located currently in Kurnool District. He stayed on the banks of the quiet and gentle flowing river Krishna and spent a few weeks there. The Holy River also called Krishnaveni is referred to as Lord Janardhana Roopa in his work Nadhi Taratamya stotra. The river creating a very serene atmosphere inspires him to pen two of his works Bhava Deepa and Tattva Manjari.
Bhava Deepa – A comprehensive description on Sri Jayateertharu’s commentary about Vishnu Tattva. Rayaru makes the commentary easy to understand for the new generation.
Tattva Manjari – it is also called Anubhashya Sara. It is detailed explanation of Sri Madhvacharya’s commentary on Brahmasutras. Again, an effort by Rayaru to make the subject easy to understand for the new generation.
Sri Raghavendra Teertharu, the divine subjects and the banks of the sacred river together brings out the wisdom of Dvaitha Philosophy.
