Sri RaghavendraTantra.

Sri Raghavendra Tantra is written by Sandhur Krishnavadhoota, an eminent Sanskrit scholar of 19th century. This work was undertaken by the scholar upon the initiative of Sri Raghavendra Teertharu. The author being an ardent devotee of, was privileged to receive necessary Upadesha and blessings in his dream. This work carries other names like Siddhi Pradha Grantha and Pratyaksha Siddhi. This clearly lays out the method and manner in which Rayaru has to be worshiped to achieve a fulfilling experience. As this contains the details of performing the pooja it is named as tantra. It is also called a Mahakavya and a gift to the spiritual seekers in this kaliyuga. The author articulates the tantra if practiced is sure to please Rayaru and derive the boons from the saint.

This holy guide has 15 cantos with several compositions including Sri Raghavendra Hridaya Kavacham, Bandhamochana Kavacham, Ashtotra Shathanamavali, Shahasranama Stothram, Guru Dasha Stothram, Pradakshina gadhyam, Ghaatha Stuti, Runamochana Stotram, Kshamapana Stotram, and Aksharamalika stotram.

He gives the details of Avataras Roopas of Rayaru in different yugas as mentioned by the saint himself. This work has the credence of receiving acceptance by Rayaru and further it is said Rayaru has treated the author as his son.

This book serves as a detailed devotional guide to perform the prayers and rituals to Sri Raghavendra Teertharu. It was his wish to make this available for the posterity and is a must in one’s library.
